A little about us ...

C i are places, small areas, which have matured over time an economic capacity and a quality of life so important that they have few comparisons in the world. One of these places is Biellese, in the north west of Italy, at the foot of the highest peaks of the Alps and in the middle of that industrial triangle where a third of the Italian economy is concentrated.

Biella, one of the largest and most qualified centers of the world wool industry, represents an important part of this reality, projected towards a global market. The presence of such an important textile sector has naturally led to the birth and continuous development of a qualified textile machinery industry. The discovery, in Biella, of a counterweight for a manual loom dating back to the epoch of the primitive Celtic populations, tells us about the millenary origin of the art of working wool. In more recent times, and precisely in 1817, the first mechanized wool industry in Italy was set up in Vallemosso by Pietro Sella.

Today the experience of Biella textile machinery has not stopped at wool, but ranges from the most diverse raw materials to the latest generation of artificial fibers. This experience was born also from a daily relationship with the textile companies present in Biella. The Biellese textile machinery companies know that they are present in a competitive way at the highest levels of world markets, aware that they are not only suppliers, but knowing well that they bring to the textile industry a unique wealth of experience, with distant roots and with a to the future.

In this context, the Iride Center was born in 1976, which took its first steps in the field of instrumental receiving of color for third parties, to become the largest and most important collaborator of the most famous company producing world colorimetry software.

In the 90s we opened a new office in Como, the world center of silk, for the development of a new colorimetry software called Iride-Prisma, where all the experience of Dyeing and Stamperia accumulated over the years has been poured into. offer customers an ever better application aid. Furthermore, the Company is also oriented towards technical-applicative consultancy in the field of chemical and technological textile laboratories. For this purpose it builds those types of equipment that the market does not offer and sells any type of equipment needed by its customers.
In 2002, with the growing boom of the ceramic industry, with the growing boom of the ceramic industry, our colorimetry software was developed ad hoc becoming a reference point for the entire industry worldwide.
