Instrument used for the control of thermobiophysiological comfort values ​​of fabrics and leather.

The test is carried out using a transparent exuding thermal plate (known as "skin model" or "human skin model"), capable of simulating the processes of transfer of body heat and humidity that take place near the human body.

The instrument allows to detect the following values: thermal resistance (RCT); scale from 0,002 to 2,0 m² K / W; resistance to water vapor (RET); scale from 5 to 1.000 m² Pa / W; water vapor permeability index (IMT), water vapor permeability (Wd), max. 1.100 W / m².

Instrument consisting of:

• "Hot Plate" exuding thermal plate for samples up to 8 "x8".
• Electronic interface with sensors for air speed, temperature and relative humidity control.
• Heating control device of the exuding plate.
• Air speed and turbulence control device.
• PC and software.

For the correct performance of the test it is necessary to use the Climatest tool Code ME1722S.
