Aqua Lab
Cod. 2450
Description
In the fiber and yarn trade sector, the humidity of textile materials is a determining factor and an essential criterion for the final assessment of quality: the price of the material includes a maximum permissible moisture content (Recovery Rate); a different moisture content in the yarn can cause defects in the fabric, such as “barré” defects, problems of dimensional stability.
The measurement principle is based on a low power radio wave which, penetrating the sample under examination, determines its internal humidity level, as well as the external one.
The software is complete with humidity scales of the most important types of fibers.
Composed of:
- Main Unit to be connected to specific sensors and to the Control-Lab.
- Control-Lab complete with PC and software.
- Bobbin sensor, to test all types of bobbins.
- Fiber sensor, to test all types of staple fiber and ribbons.
Key Features:
- Measurement speed, which takes place in real time.
- Reading of both the Recovery Rate% (R%) and the Humidity% (RH%).
- Non-destructive test method
