Description

Pneumatic squirrel tester, used to determine the resistance to bursting of orthogonal, knitted, non-woven and paper fabrics. The instrument allows to detect the pressure at which the tested samples are torn and the extent reached by them before the laceration.

These tests can be performed in two ways:

• According to specific standards for burst tests.
• According to test parameters fully configurable by the user.

The instrument also allows to carry out fatigue cycle tests (hysteresis cycle) and to verify the behavior of the sample when subjected to continuous extensions and relaxation. All the parameters to be set for this type of test are completely customizable by the user.

Extension measurement is performed using laser-like technology.

Instrument equipped with:

• Pressure rate self-checking system (no need for aluminum foil for calibration).
• Extension level verification system.
• Dedicated air inlet for connecting the external pressure meter (in case calibration is necessary).
