Fully automatic torque meter managed by a personal computer which, in addition to controlling the loading, torsion test and change of the section of the yarn to be tested / package, processes a complete series of statistical data and provides the related report.

The instrument is able to automatically perform torsion tests on a single package (max 999 tests) or, by connecting the Auto Cop Changer device, to automatically test up to 24 packages / spools of thread.

Suitable for all types of "Spun" yarns (ring and Open End), as well as for continuous synthetic yarns with "S" or "Z" twist.

Three pre-selection test methods:

• traditional method, with detorsion and retaliation on single yarns;
• Schutz method, with detorsion and retaliation with double counter-test performed automatically for Open End and combed wool yarns;
• direct method, with detorsion for single yarns and multi-plains.

Torsion control of each section of wire at pre-established intervals.

Statistical results: average, minimum, maximum, CV%, range, standard deviation and alpha coefficient. Twist available in revolutions / meter or revolutions / inch.
